Terms of sale

Last updated: 21 October 2026

These Terms of Sale apply to all orders placed on www.altiorae.com by customers in Ireland. Please read them before placing an order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish law.

1. Who we are

This website (www.altiorae.com) is operated by ALTIORA, a sole trader business (micro-entreprise) registered in France, trading under the brand Altiorae ("we", "us", "our").

Email: contact@altiorae.com

2. Orders and contract

You can order by adding products to your cart, entering your delivery details, choosing a payment method and clicking the final order button. Before you confirm, you can review your order and correct any mistakes.

The contract is formed when you complete payment. We then send you an order confirmation by email. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of obvious pricing error, suspected fraud or a product being unavailable; in that case you are refunded in full.

Product photos are as accurate as possible, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro (€) and are the final prices you pay, including all applicable taxes. Delivery to Ireland is free. The price that applies is the one shown at the time of your order.

You can pay by credit or debit card, Apple Pay or PayPal. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we never have access to your full card details.

4. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in Ireland with free tracked delivery. Orders are usually processed and dispatched within 2 to 3 working days (often within 48 hours), then delivered within 5 to 10 working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on each product page.

Unless another date is agreed, we deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest. If we fail to deliver on time, you can give us a reasonable additional period; if we still do not deliver, you may end the contract and we will refund you in full within 14 days.

Please check your parcel on arrival and tell us within a few days if it is damaged or incomplete, so we can sort it out quickly. This does not limit your legal rights. If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier and, where appropriate, send a replacement at our cost.

5. Your right to cancel (14 days)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you (or someone you name, other than the carrier) receive the goods. If your order is delivered in several parcels, the period runs from receipt of the last parcel.

To cancel, send us a clear statement by email to contact@altiorae.com (for example using the model cancellation form below). It is enough to send it before the period ends.

You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. We will give you the return address by email.

We refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your cancellation, using the same payment method. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of sending them, whichever is earlier. You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, nor to sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Model cancellation form (complete and return only if you wish to cancel):

6. 90-day money-back guarantee

In addition to your legal rights, we offer a 90-day money-back guarantee on our duvets: if you are not satisfied, you can return your order within 90 days of delivery and we will refund the price of the goods.

To use it, email us at contact@altiorae.com with your order number; we will send you the return instructions and address. The goods must be unused, in their original condition and original packaging, complete with the pillowcases supplied, and the shipping label must be present and intact. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept goods that have been used. You pay the cost of the return shipment. We refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods, using the original payment method.

This guarantee is a commercial guarantee: it is offered on top of, and does not replace or limit, your statutory rights.

7. Faulty goods – your legal rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, the goods we sell must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you are entitled to a remedy free of charge:

  • within 30 days of delivery, you can reject the goods and get a full refund (short-term right to reject);
  • you can ask for the goods to be repaired or replaced;
  • if a repair or replacement is not possible, not done within a reasonable time or does not solve the problem, you can ask for a price reduction or end the contract and get a refund.

We are responsible for any lack of conformity that exists when the goods are delivered and becomes apparent within the period set by Irish law. A fault that appears within one year of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we prove otherwise. We pay the cost of returning faulty goods. To report a fault, email us at contact@altiorae.com, ideally with a photo.

8. Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

9. Personal data

We use your personal data to process your order and deliver it, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. Complaints, governing law and disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at contact@altiorae.com; we aim to reply within 48 hours.

These terms are governed by French law. As a consumer resident in Ireland, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of Irish consumer law, and you may bring proceedings before the Irish courts.

As we are based in another EU country, you can also get free help with a cross-border complaint from the European Consumer Centre Ireland (www.eccireland.ie). Information on your consumer rights is available from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (www.ccpc.ie).

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force on the date of your order applies to that order.
